
Santa Carolina is one of the oldest wineries in Chile, created in 1875 by a Chilean business visionary, Mr. Luis Pereira Cotapos and his wife, Carolina Iniguez Vicuna. Since 1986, Santa Carolina has been a top Chilean brand exported to the US. Today, it is the 4th largest exporter of wines from Chile, located in some of the best wine growing regions including Casablanca, Leyda, Maipo, Rapel, Colchagua, Cachapoal and Maule Valleys. While celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2015, it had awarded the New World Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast. This award recognizes Santa Carolina as the best winery of Chile, Australia, Argentina, New Zealand, South Africa and Uruguay, among other New World countries.
